Principal architect, founder and director of Metroworks, Melissa Fleming has been involved in the industry full-time since graduating with Honours from Deakin University in 1995. She has single-handedly developed the business into a multi-award winning, boutique practice that offers high quality and personal architectural solutions. Melissa’s registrations and qualifications include:

But if we’re talking commercial buildings – I love the Chrysler Building in New York City, designed by architect William Van Alen. Often overshadowed by the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building is a beautiful example of Art Deco style architecture. Although it is a large-scale building, it also contains some beautiful detailing – especially the beautiful ornamentation of the stepped curve apex.
