Metroworks Project Wins HIA Awards!

Its so exciting to announce that one of Metroworks Architects recent renovation projects – designed by Melissa – has won not one, but two awards at the recent HIA Victorian Housing Awards! The project in York St, St Kilda West picked up both the Best Renovation/Addition Project Over $1.5M as well as the big one – Overall Renovation/Addition Project of the Year.

The awards were collected by the builders – Neumode Design & Construction who did a great job on the construction and project management side of things, making the design ideas I had worked through with the clients come to life.

Having won the Victorian award, we are now on our way to the National awards which will be judged and awarded in 2017. Fingers crossed!

The house started its life in Melissa’s architectural hands as two apartments, one above the other. On completion, it was transformed into a beautiful, Art Deco style family home. If you’d like to read more about the project and check out the photos, CLICK HERE.
